Major Incident Medical Management And Support Course – The London Stadium 21-22 July 2026
On 21st and 22nd July 2026, Gravitas Medical Solutions delivered the two-day Advanced Life Support Group Major Incident Medical Management & Support (MIMMS) course at London Stadium for stadium and event medical professionals.
Designed to strengthen major incident readiness, the course gave participants the opportunity to build the knowledge, confidence and practical skills needed to respond effectively in complex, information poor, high-pressure environments.
Using the structured CSCATTT approach — Command and Control, Safety, Communication, Assessment, Triage, Treatment and Transport — attendees explored the key principles that underpin a safe, coordinated and effective major incident response.
Through a combination of focused learning, discussion and practical exercises, participants developed a clearer understanding of their role within a wider multi-agency response and strengthened their ability to make timely, structured decisions when it matters most.
For stadium and event medical teams, this type of training is essential. Large venues and major events present unique operational challenges, and effective preparation can make a significant difference to team performance, communication and casualty outcomes.
