A HEREFORDSHIRE-based healthcare training provider, who are the training providers for the Baton of Hope, have developed a first of its kind Suicide Awareness and Prevention (SAP) e-learning course tailored specifically to the farming community.
A HEREFORDSHIRE-based healthcare training provider, who are the training providers for the Baton of Hope, have developed a first of its kind Suicide Awareness and Prevention (SAP) e-learning course tailored specifically to the farming community.
Launched with support from The Royal Foundation of The Prince and Princess of Wales, the module will be made available to Young Farmers Clubs across the UK.
The training has been designed by Gravitas Medical Solutions, in collaboration with the Farm Safety Foundation (Yellow Wellies), and National Suicide Prevention Network members Baton of Hope, reflecting the real challenges faced by young people in rural communities and equipping them with practical skills to recognise warning signs, start supportive conversations and signpost to help.
